As The Chips Fall
Surrender – \sə-ˈren-dər\ – To give oneself up into the power of another, especially as a prisoner; to submit or give in to.
No truer word could be used to describe the idea behind the newest and hottest nightlife destination at Encore. The groundbreaking indoor/outdoor venue has quickly established itself, with the help and management of Vivian Harding, as the go-to destination for upscale nightlife on the Strip.
The Surrender experience starts outdoors, when the sun sinks below the two-level wall of VIP cabanas that mask the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip just beyond it. The 45,000 square foot oasis surrounds three-tiered pools, bungalows, beds, and couches where guests can take advantage of bottle service or dance the night away under the stars. Looking inside from the pool area you see the club’s signature 120-foot long sleek silver snake, taking up residence behind the main bar. Plush banquettes and VIP seating overlooks an energetic dance floor surrounded by eight dance platforms, where Surrender’s beautiful team of dancers are stationed. The entire design of Surrender is to lure and entice guests, just as the serpent did in the Garden of Eden.
But Surrender has a darker side to it. Not only is it the base of operations to the city’s most secretive and most expensive escort service (since prostitution is still illegal in Vegas), it is a White Court holding. When guests arrive, surrounded by beauty and opulence, they are quickly drawn into a sense of welcome, but can’t help but feel passions igniting. Is it the decor, the throbbing music, the gyrations of the dancers, the flawless beauty of the employees, or is there something more supernatural influencing those who enter?
